CHANGEMAKER powered by WKO Oberösterreich is a special award that honors our outstanding Tech2b alumni who are successful on an international level! 🌟 But what exactly does it mean? Well, it's our opportunity to recognize those who have made a remarkable journey of success over the past few years and are considered true game changers for economic development in Upper Austria!
The shortlist of nominees for the EDISON ChangeMaker 2024 is here! Instead of a classic jury session, we will hold an exclusive roundtable with these successful entrepreneurs with the Provincial Councillor for Economic Affairs @markusachleitner and the award sponsor @wko.ooe. This is not just about getting to know each other in a small group, but also about a qualitative exchange on current issues facing young, fast-growing companies.
Afterwards, Provincial Councillor for Economic Affairs Markus Achleitner and the sponsor will select the ChangeMaker 2024 from this group. The official award ceremony will take place as part of EDISON 2024 on June 27, 2024.

We invited our strong PIER4 partners to the @factory300_linz to share their experiences under the new title "PIER4 Inno-Insights". From now on, our network partners in the PIER4 group will determine which topics/problems should be dealt with together.
Each company has the opportunity to bring in its own individual challenges and use the "AI" (collective intelligence) of the PIER4 network to work on solutions. A short community pitch (3 minutes) at the event is sufficient to present the individual topic to the network group. Depending on the level of interest expressed, a working group can work on the solution directly on site - optionally, the group can meet afterwards for more in-depth discussions.
All beginnings are difficult, we thought as we prepared yesterday's event. We were all the more delighted with the acceptance of the new concept. No fewer than 5 community pitches were put to the vote by representatives of the network partners.
At this point, a big thank you to the first movers Philipp Wimmer from @stiwa_group , Peter Höllerbauer from @linz_ag , Julian Bauer from @keba_group , Michael Schietz from @voestalpine and Andreas Kreiner from #PIERERInnovation and their community pitches.
