The company CIT – Convergent Information Technologies GmbH developed a software tool to program robots automatically. The CIT tool plans the complete robotic application for different processes fully or semi-automatically. Collisions or restrictions of the movement space are automatically avoided and at the same time optimal process quality is guaranteed.
The CIT tool has already been used by plant manufacturers for process simulation and semi-automatic programming of cells for 100% inspection of chassis and add-on parts in automobiles.
