Startups on the rise - tech2b sponsorship 2023

The Winner Diploma for successful completion of the Incubate or Activate program

"Activate" and "Incubate" are the two central offerings for startups from tech2b: "Activate" is about the first steps of startups and support starting with the founding idea. Startups in "Incubate" have already taken these steps. This is already about scaling and growth, the next steps after a successful foundation, so to speak.
The Incubate program runs for 15 months and the Activate program for six months.

In addition to financial support, the startups are provided with mentors and can not only use tech2b's comprehensive workshop and event program, but also the entire tech2b network - whether expert knowledge, partners or sponsors. In addition, tech2b provides infrastructure in the form of coworking spaces at various locations in Upper Austria (Open Innovation Center/JKU, FH Steyr, FH Hagenberg, FH Wels, Tabakfabrik Linz)

Both programs conclude with the Winner certificate ceremony: "This year, a total of 35 start-ups and their contribution to Upper Austria's economy will be honored with the tech2b Winner diploma. The eleven graduates of the Incubate program will receive their awards in person today. The highly innovative products and services developed range from improvements in the industrial and medical technology sector to apps and online solutions through to developments that improve social interaction," explains Achleitner, Provincial Councillor for Economic Affairs.

Our focal points

tech2b is increasingly focusing on key topics and promoting female founders and climate-relevant start-up projects: "The aim is to support women in turning their ideas into reality and to accompany them on the path to self-employment. We have already been able to support a number of female founders who have successfully embarked on the path to self-employment, such as femitale, AMB-technology, hublz and symflower," says tech2b Managing Director Friedl.

Another focus is the promotion of sustainable start-ups. Start-ups are supported in looking at their business models and supply chains not only in terms of costs, but also from a human rights and environmental perspective. Workshops and advice are designed to raise awareness among start-ups so that they can make a positive contribution to society and the environment in the long term. "Cooperation with local universities and research institutions enables the founders to access the latest technologies and findings in order to drive sustainable innovations," emphasizes Raphael Friedl.

Innovative start-ups in front of the curtain

Robert KOEPPE and Yana VERESHCHAGA - Sendance GmbH

Pressure sensors for medical aids. Sendance's unique selling point lies in the integration of sensors in areas where this was previously not possible. Sendance is the first application to make it possible to integrate pressure sensors into specially adapted orthopaedic medical aids. "The most important point of contact for us is definitely the tech2b incubator, which does really good work for the start-up scene in Upper Austria. Even before the financial aspects, the low-threshold nature of tech2b's offering with personal advisors who are always ready to listen and give advice is a major strength. In addition, you are very well prepared for important appointments with customers, funding bodies and investors," say Robert Koeppe and Yana Vereshchaga from Sendance.
Thomas RIEGLER- Bergardi GmbH:
