Nimbusec is a high-tech research and service company in the field of IT security and big data analysis. Nimbusec detects hacked and manipulated websites. In cooperation with Austrian universities and several years of research, the Nimbusec team has been able to develop a leading technology that protects the online reputation of companies worldwide.

The founding team consists of 4 founders from different disciplines. Martin Leonhartsberger studied mechatronics with a focus on computer science at the JKU and wrote his diploma thesis in the field of Linux-based real-time operating systems. In more than 10 years of professional activity, he has dealt extensively with forensics, IT security and defensive measures, among other things. Christof Horschitz studied business informatics at the JKU and is an expert in web services and authentication systems.
Christian Baumgartner (Computer Engineering at the JKU) has more than 10 years of development experience in large, distributed webshop systems such as those used by travel providers. Katharina Schirl graduated from the Free University of Bolzano with a degree in graphics and product design and focuses on user interface design, typography and infographics.
