Abstract:
Molexe develops and applies molecular genetic analysis methods for plants.
From plant breeding to plant raw material processing, there is an ever-increasing need for molecular genetic analyses – molexe offers solutions based on efficient and cost-effective high-resolution melting (HRM) technology. In the area of marker development and analysis, cost savings of up to 50% compared to conventional analysis methods are possible. At the same time, other new technologies such as "Next generation sequencing" (NGS) are being integrated. As a result, molexe enables new customer groups to access and apply state-of-the-art genetic techniques in the handling of plants.
At the same time, molexe is always committed to sustainability, environmentally conscious action and the responsible use of modern technology.
Founder Profile:
Eduard Mader is the founder and managing director of molexe and has many years of practical and scientific experience in plant production. Since 2007, he has been working on the HRM technology used at molexe and has published a number of scientific papers in the field. Ideas and developments from this work have already been taken up several times around the world.

The analyses that molexe performs with newly developed methods are customized for each customer and are highly scalable. Together with the customer, the problem to be solved is first precisely defined (GMO admixture, disease resistance, stress tolerance, identity and line differentiation, etc.) and then a tailor-made procedure is carried out that provides the customer with all the expected information about his material.
