Brief description:
hoss Mobility GmbH was founded on the idea of using new technology to give people with limited mobility a better way of getting around. We rely on a self-balancing, single-axle drive concept. This offers enormous advantages over conventional four-wheeled wheelchairs. The single-axle, self-balancing drive system is not new, but the idea of using it from the ground up for people with reduced mobility is.
The challenge here is to make this entire system as safe as possible and to prevent the device from falling in any situation. We took on this challenge and founded hoss Mobility GmbH in 2017. Since then, we have tirelessly researched, developed, designed, tested and improved. It all started on a blank sheet of paper; we developed and implemented all the electronics, software and hardware components ourselves. The result is the hoss, a personal care robot equipped with a patented high-speed support system, high-tech electronic components and ingenious control software at the highest safety level.
