Abstract:
ecop Technologies GmbH is a company founded in 2011 by Bernhard Adler, which has developed a completely new generation of heat pumps, primarily for industrial use. The new technology makes it possible to overcome the hurdles of previous heat pumps in terms of achievable temperature levels and temperature differences that can be bridged.
With this technological approach, the company was awarded the VIE Energy Globe Award in 2010 and the Upper Austrian EDISON Prize in Gold in June 2012. In 2016, he was awarded the Daphne Environmental Technology Prize, in Gold and the MERCUR Innovation Award '16.
In spring 2017, Bioenergie Bucklige Welt GmbH in Schwarzau (Lower Austria) commissioned a ROTATION HEAT PUMP K7. Research and development is located in Vienna and production takes place in Upper Austria.
