The founders Werner Richtsfeld and Christian Indra are passionate motorcyclists. Your family and friends are constantly worried when they are out on a motorcycle. They are not alone in this situation, because there are over 5.5 million motorcycles in the DACH region alone. Every year, more than 60,000 motorcycle accidents occur in this area alone. With BikerSOS, the two founders have developed a solution for exactly this.
BikerSOS is a mobile application for Android and iOS, which detects accidents of motorcyclists using the sensors built into the mobile phone and automatically forwards an emergency call to set emergency contacts and to a partner emergency call center. Medical data to be entered voluntarily is transmitted to the emergency services and thus optimises the rescue of the driver, because every second counts! A live tracking feature is intended to reduce the worries of relatives, because they can track whether the motorcyclist is still driving. The tour is stored on the smartphone and can therefore be called up at any time. For us, the protection of motorcyclists is in the foreground and therefore there will always be a free version with a certain basic protection, which can be improved by means of in-app subscriptions. The BikerSOS app is intended to become an indispensable tool for every motorcyclist worldwide.
