Awarity Training Solutions GmbH

IT/Software development 2014

Abstract
The aim of the Awarity project is to train the current security awareness of employees in SMEs, large companies and corporations and to establish a lasting safety culture. This goal is to be achieved by playfully dealing with the topic of security awareness in everyday situations and tasks that are generated by the system or by the players themselves. In concrete terms, this means that employees of the end customer can point out security-relevant aspects in their own company and report them via the Awarity platform. The points to be obtained are calculated from the external expert assessment carried out for each vulnerability. Based on the anonymous evaluation of the vulnerabilities that have occurred, it is possible to provide participating companies with an early warning system for possible hacker attacks (in particular social engineering attacks). Depending on the amount and type of information provided by the end customer, for example, an increased occurrence of a single security problem in a certain region or industry can be used as an indication of an increased risk potential.
