wasmachen.at - Linz

The wasmachen.at platform bundles events from a wide variety of sources - from official organizers to commercial providers and community events. The user-friendly interface and powerful filter search make it easy to find the right events. Artificial intelligence also supports the search with individual suggestions based on personal interests. All search queries are saved to enable even more targeted recommendations - even for niche events. Smart notifications via WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal or email ensure that no event is overlooked. The tailored recommendations also make it easier for smaller event organizers to reach their audience. www.wasmachen.at

City island - Freistadt

The city island will be a new, multifunctional, floating platform for leisure, sport and culture directly on the Frauenteich in Freistadt. In summer, sandy areas, sun loungers and cool drinks create a beach atmosphere. In addition, events such as beach parties, open-air concerts and movie nights bring life to the pond. In winter, an artificial ice rink transforms the platform into a winter oasis - including ice skating, curling and events with music, mulled wine and the magic of light. The city island offers a stage for regional producers, associations and artists. Local pop-up kitchens and farmers' markets not only strengthen the community, but also regional value creation. The opening is planned for fall 2025. www.stadtinsel.at

Trailomat - Linz

Trailomat is the platform for microfinancing MTB trail construction and maintenance. Transparent generation of funds, a structured application and awarding process and all this in a non-profit organization. The founding idea creates social added value through movement. Via a platform, companies, communities and active athletes can invest transparently in projects that create freely accessible trails in nature - for locals and tourists. The results contribute to several sustainability goals of the Upper Austrian Tourism Strategy 2030 and companies can see their brands in the context of the implemented project.

e-ski - Aigen-Schlägl, Rohrbach

The cable car for water skiing has been around since the 1960s. The electrically motorized waterski e-ski now makes the sport possible without a tow rope and therefore on all bodies of water. Thrillectric GmbH is thus creating an autonomous riding experience and increasing the "fun factor". Thanks to the combination of the agility of the skis, the speed of jet skiing and the freedom gained without a tow rope, the e-skis offer a high entertainment factor not only for water skiing enthusiasts.
