The female founder network meeting SHEtech2b went into the next round!
Our special guest Dr. Kornelia Waitz-Ramsauer, LL.M., inspired us with exclusive insights on the topics of "Investing from a women's perspective" and "Time Management". Her perspectives as a lawyer, tax consultant and investor were particularly valuable and stimulated many interesting discussions.
She gave the participants important tips to take with them:
- Even supposedly small and spontaneous ideas can become something big.
- Thorough preparation of legal issues and, in particular, the articles of association is crucial. Clean contracts not only make it easier for investors to get involved, but also save a lot of money and nerves in the event of family planning or dissolution.
- Honesty is essential when working with investors. Both sides should be open and transparent in discussions.
- The team plays a central role in attracting financing partners, which is why a solid team structure is essential.
- There are too few female investors. Financial training for children and young people could help to change the mindset in society.
- Negotiations with investors should always take place in person and not virtually. Personal contact offers a significant advantage, as you can better understand and feel your counterpart.
