Our MedTech Incubator, a cooperation between #tech2b and the Medical Technology Cluster of Business Upper Austria, offered participants valuable insights and practical tips on how to develop an idea into a successful MedTech startup.

Martha Wagner and Julia Zaborsky gave first-hand insights into how ideas can become reality in the MedTech world. Interested parties had the opportunity to introduce themselves in non-binding initial talks and present their own MedTech ideas.
Networking and practical tips:
Startups such as FiveSquare, AQVENA GmbH and sendance GmbH shared their success stories and reported on their experiences in our MedTech incubator programs ACTIVATE and INCUBATE.
FiveSquare: Patrick Haidinger explained how AI and deep learning could be used to detect epilepsy at an early stage in the future.
AQVENA GmbH: Denis-Robin Cvetkovic presented an innovative solution for improving lung function using "waterfall air".
sendance GmbH: Yana Vereshchaga presented the patented soft sensor technology for smart wearables.
Bernhard Schwartz, researcher and lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Upper Austria and co-founder of the Competence Center for Medical Devices GmbH, shared his extensive experience and reported on how he supports MedTech start-ups. His expertise ranges from toxicology to the planning and implementation of clinical studies.
