The Startup World Cup, hosted by Pegasus Tech Ventures, is the largest startup competition worldwide, with more than 70 countries taking part every year. 2021 the Austrian Angel Investors Association (now: invest.austria) and Austrian Startups brought the competition to Austria for the first time.
The Austrian finals of Startup World Cup will take place as part of ViennaUp on 3 June 2024. The finalists will get the chance to win:
$ 1 million: get a $1 million investment from Pegasus Tech Ventures by winning the world finals
world finals: pitch in front of VCs [&] investors at the world finals in Silicon Valley
connections: connect with investors in 1on1 meetings, benefit from their experience and get the chance to receive an investment
