2002 Foundation of the tech2b Gründerzentrums GmbH

2003 Our activities are extended to “e-business and innovative services” in the course of the second AplusB invitation to tender.

2007 An international team of evaluators confirms the excellent work of the incubators, and our financing for the next 5 years.

2008 Our new management introduces additional optimisation efforts for all internal processes on the basis of the experiences made to allow even more spot-on support for people to realise their ideas, to create sustainable, new jobs and to effectively increase Upper Austria’s innovative power. Renaming of the tech2b Gründerzentrums GmbH into tech2b Inkubator GmbH.

2009 The new stage gate process supporting new foundations including the newly developed training programme Biztrain is used for the first time. tech2b also starts to implement the international Incubator Hagenberg Programme.

2010 Start of the new support programme Business2excellence. This is a follow-up support programme for young high-technology companies during their early growing stage (post incubation).

2011 Start of the Oberösterreichische HightechFund initiated by tech2b to support technology-based founders.

The result is impressive: 67 foundation projects, almost 50 successful business foundations with more than 300 employees, more than 80 patents and, so far, approximately 20 million Euro in capital made available to the benefit of the participating companies.
