Apart from capital requirements, companies also depend on know-how and experience, especially during their early stages of foundation and development. This is where business angels come in and provide essential support for companies. With the Angel Investment Club Oberösterreich (AICO), tech2b has made an initiative that is a valuable additional asset for providing financial means to innovative and technology-based foundations. 

AICO sees itself as a platform for the Upper Austrian business angels and investors who contribute their experience and capital to start-ups and companies with strong potential for growth. In return they get an opportunity to acquire attractive participations with the prospect of substantial returns. The aim of AICO is to facilitate access to investors for promising young Upper Austrian companies and to ensure long-term financing.

The financing support provided by AICO is mostly an additional input during the seed phase. The actions of AICO have been quite successful for company foundations. Therefore it is planned to extend this network to all of Austria.

AICO is registered as an association. Its activities as an association are operatively implemented by tech2b as a member of the AICO association.
